American Holiday’s staff spends most of their time online researching and tracking the best deals available for their customers. As such, there was a need to provide internet speeds and redundancy in excess of that available from current ISPs. Provident implemented a Smoothwall Firewall allowing American Holidays to use a number of Internet Connections concurrently thus sharing the load and adding resilience to the internet provision at their offices.
Following the successful tendering of a new AVAYA phone system for their offices in Cork, Provident designed and delivered a Windows based CTI screen pop application that received the inbound callers CLI and performed a lookup to the SQL based CRM system. When a Staff member answered the call, the CTI application popped the Callers details up on the Users Screen. The User could then open the caller’s record from a link dynamically created by the CTI application, thus saving the user having to locate the record. If the inbound caller was a new customer, and the number was not recognised, the Staff member had the option of creating a new record.
